Gaining an ability [[Locked to Claire H&M - AU]]

Sylar had been watching and waiting in the village, waiting to get that one ability he craved. It had taken him months to memorize Claire's schedule and track her movements through the village. She made a typical mistake by never changing her routine. She take the same route, she made the same stops, and it was so perfectly predictable.

Wearing a hoodie as he moved through town, Sylar made her way to the video store in the dark of the evening. When the store finally closed and the last customer left, he stood across the street, watching her through the window with a little smirk. He waited until she disappeared out of sight before walking in. That was the perfect thing about the village. People were so trusting, even after the strange little town pulled off some bizarre things.

Once he was in, Sylar locked the door behind him and used his telekinesis to kill the electricity and draw the blinds. Then, in a low, sing song voice, he moved into the shadows.

"Claaaireeee..."

Sylar is coming into the game just after season two ends and before season three started. In season 2, Sylar injected himself with a cure to get his powers back after losing them following the events at the end of season 1. We saw him regain his telekinesis, but in season three, the show dropped the ball and never explained if he ever got his other powers back. I am making the executive decision and saying he did, although he has had to SLOWLY re-learn them all. So, here is a list of powers Sylar will have the potential to re-learn. A couple of them he probably won't ever re-learn, such as induced radioactivity (no nuking the place).

If at any time you do not want Sylar to use any of his powers on your pup, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to tell the mun. I will try to put reminders on all of my posts, but otherwise, if you threaten Sylar, he will use his telekinesis. If you try to sneak up on him, he WILL use his super hearing. That being said, I'm bringing him into the game before he ever has Claire's power**, so he will be able to get hurt. And I, as the mun, encourage you to do just that - but please don't kill him. That's all I ask. I'm not beyond the realm of knowing the human body's limits, so when he's hurt, he'll be hurt and back off.

It should be noted that Sylar doesn't actually have to KILL to learn powers - his power works just like Peter's in that the powers could be absorbed empathetically. Which means that in this game, technically, Sylar could learn Claire, Matt, Molly, and Hiro's powers. The only way he'll learn this, however, is if someone teaches him how to take powers without lopping off heads. (Well, technically he could take off the top of Claire's head and get her power without killing her, but if that ever becomes a possibility, it will be discussed AT GREAT LENGTH with the mun of Claire.)
